I believe in the subtle but powerful voice that ceramics encapsulate as objects. I am interested in their versatility and how they communicate with the surrounding environment and interact with our world. Utilizing this quality, I intend to deliver something familiar and relatable yet alien and foreign, which results in abstract forms and patterns. Through a variety of methods including pinching, press molding and throwing, I wish to create ceramics that explore the realm that is in  between tactile and non-tactile.
